She was so attentive and caring towards me and my husband and made a very nerve wracking experience, the best I could have ever hoped for. Don’t hesitate to use Helen! Helen was an absolutely wonderful midwife. From the moment she was with us, she made me feel completely comfortable, cared for, and at ease during labour. Her calm and relaxed presence helped me feel safe and supported at every stage, and she always took the time to explain what was happening and listen to my needs. She was also incredibly supportive of my partner, making sure that he was involved, reassured, and confident throughout the experience. We both felt truly looked after, and I can’t thank Helen enough for the compassion, professionalism, and kindness she showed us during such an important time. Helen helped bring our baby girl into the world in July this year and as a first time mum I am proud to say my experience was positive and I believe that was largely down to Helen. After turning up to hospital in a rushed manner… Helen coached me through my active labour in a way where I felt in control and like I knew what I was doing even after only meeting her when in active labour! After birth she made sure she explained everything that she was doing and what was happening, this also helped me feel in control and calmed a huge amount of my anxiety (she also checked with me constantly and went at my pace for everything post birth). Helen felt like a complete natural, nothing forced and nothing ‘tick box’. We are forever thankful to Helen, her laughs and jointing in with our banter was the cherry on top. Helen is an absolute star. I wouldn’t have got through the birth of my daughter without her holding my hand and guiding me through it with her kindness and professionalism. She made me feel empowered, safe and supported which was exactly what I needed, her presence was very calming in one of my most vulnerable times and if I were to have another pregnancy I wouldn’t hesitate to book her.
